  • Decide on your bridal party and attendants.
  • Finalise date after confirming location and photographer.
  • Book any required accommodation.

11 Months before

  • Plan decor for venues.
  • Make appointment with florist.
  • Book catering and other food services.

10 Months before

  • Finalise guest list.
  • Set up gift registries.
  • Book your wedding celebrant.
  • Research music for ceremony, reception.

9 Months before

  • Order you wedding dress and suits

8 Months before

  • Order any accessories
  • Plan and book your honeymoon.

6 Months before

  • Plan and print wedding invitations.
  • Send out – save the date cards to guests.
  • Conduct a few practice runs on hair and make up.
  • Finalise your final wedding day look.

5 Months before

  • Finalise rentals for tables, chairs, etc.

  • Confirm booking for honeymoon.

  • Finalise menu with caterers.
  • Determine your alcohol policy and payments.
  • Plan the table settings.
  • Start planning on seating layout.

1 month before

  • Finish any DIY projects.

2 weeks before

  • Give final head count to caterer.
  • Finalise seating chart.
  • Create wedding day schedule and confirm timings etc. with all third parties.
  • Plan for a friend or family member to take over coordination, get the up to speed so they can take over an possible issues and leave you to enjoy your day.
